SOFT EDGES Group Exhibition
Saturday 25 April and Sunday 26 April 2026
The "Soft Edges" art group will be holding their annual exhibition at Hoveringham Village Hall in April.
I have recently joined this art group and have been impressed and inspired by the artworks being produced.
Soft Edges is a small group of artists; some have had formal training and all have a love of expressing what we see in our own way. A few have already developed a "signature" style whilst others are developing and trying out different ways of painting. Work is mainly in oils and acrylics but also in pastels and watercolours, ink and crayon too.
"For several years John Townsend was our group tutor and we benefited from his experience as a professional artist to ensure our compositions were sound, colours and tones in tune and our edges soft.
We help each other with observations and criticisms to ensure we are pleased with our finished work and that it has reached a good standard."
